Stephen is an Investment Director at the Clean Growth Fund, an early-stage venture capital fund that invests in UK companies tackling decarbonisation. Stephen is an engineer at heart, having gained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Materials and Manufacture. Prior to VC, Stephen held operational roles in the steel, semiconductor and automotive industries, predominantly in research, product and process development roles. Stephen has also worked in University technology transfer departments, supporting university researchers in “spinning out” their technology. Stephen has now been an early-stage VC for almost 15 years.
