Selina Donald
Selina is an award-winning leader focused on sustainability, environmental management and climate change, with expertise in high-profile events. Her epiphany moment came while working on the London 2012 Opening and Closing Ceremonies, which served as memorable bookends for the most sustainable Games- to-date. As well as the Games, Selina has been part of other high-profile projects, including: the England 2018 World Cup Bid; COP; the Rio Olympics 2016; #March4Women, and recently led the sustainability strategy for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Under Selina’s leadership, The Bulb has created and implemented award-winning sustainability strategies on a global scale, working across the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Japan. Achievements include: consultancy to the world's biggest climate change event, COP28, an ISO-certified strategy spanning four continents; leading the sustainability strategy for two-award winning brand activations for Sky and Verizon, and providing sustainability expertise for Google for Cannes Lion.
Selina sits on the board of industry-leading organisations, isla and NOWIE, and regularly speaks at events on a number of topics including, materiality, circular economy and sustainability trends.
