Scott Harrison

Director Strategy and Innovation, Experian
Scott looks after the innovation agenda for Experian's Business Information division. For the past 3 years Scott has been spearheading Experian's initiatives to solve the market need for credible sustainability metrics on companies, particularly SMEs. Scott is co-chair of the B4NZ SME Sustainability Data Workstream and has been pioneering new market solutions for financed emissions measurement and is actively pursuing ways to establish a sustainability data currency that stands alongside financial and other risk metrics to underpin customer decisions and facilitate access to transition finance. Scott is passionate about the need to engage and make sustainability work as a positive force for SME growth rather than act as an administrative burden or trade barrier, looking for ways to re-use and re-purpose existing data to inform a business' sustainability profile. Scott has worked in business data for over 25 years and is active across innovation forums and business data organisations, such as CFIT and FEBIS working in a range of applications of business data across credit risk, KYB and Targeting. Prior to his tenure at Experian, Scott worked for Accenture, PWC and several boutique consultancies.
