Sarah founded Ripple to make clean energy ownership affordable and accessible for everyone.  She was frustrated that big companies could access low-cost clean energy directly, but people couldn’t. Ripple puts power into people’s hands, enabling them to own a small share of a large scale wind farm or solar park to reduce and stabilise their electricity bills for the long term. Sarah has worked in the wind energy industry since 2000. Prior to Ripple she was Head of Public Affairs (UK + Ireland) for Vestas, the world's largest wind turbine manufacturer as well as vice-chair of RenewableUK, the UK's trade body for wind and marine energy.  

Sarah was named as the BusinessGreen entrepreneur of the year 2021. She is also a finalist for the New Entrepreneur Award at The Lloyds British Business Awards 2022.
