Nicola Wheeler is Policy and Programme Lead (Climate Change and Sustainability) at Richmond and Wandsworth Councils, where she leads on Richmond and Wandsworth Councils’ adaptation and resilience work. She has worked in the climate change space for over a decade, working at the World Health Organization and University College London prior to joining Richmond and Wandsworth Councils. Nicola is passionate about addressing the climate crisis, and with her experience working at the global, national, and local level, Nicola is utilising this knowledge to help Richmond and Wandsworth boroughs meet their 2043 net zero targets and to help improve the resilience of the public by implementing adaptation measures and increasing their adaptive capacity.
