Matt Ersin
Matt Ersin is Senior Director at Fastned, one of Europe’s leading fast-charging companies, where he drives the company’s engagement with policymakers and regulators to accelerate the rollout of high-quality charging infrastructure and support the transition to electric mobility. He also serves as Chair of the Green Industry Grid Association (GIGA), bringing together major industrial electricity users to advocate for faster grid expansion, smarter connection frameworks and a more resilient, future-ready energy system in Europe.
With over 30 years of experience working at the intersection of European institutions, diplomacy and strategic advisory, he has supported governments, the European Commission, and private sector leaders across more than 30 countries. His work today focuses on ensuring that infrastructure, regulation and market design evolve in step with Europe’s electrification and industrial transformation.
