Lokesh Joined Amber’s energy team as Senior Investment Manager in April 2022. Over the last two years, Lokesh has taken charge of Amber’s equity investments and initiatives that are at the forefront of the energy transition, including energy storage, electric buses, green gas and co-located renewable power.

Prior to Amber, Lokesh worked with Actis, a leading large-cap energy and infrastructure investor in emerging markets. At Actis, he supported the structuring and execution of USD500m+ infrastructure equity investments in sectors such as district cooling,  mobile towers, fibre optic networks and data centres.

Between 2015 and 2020, Lokesh was a Senior Consultant within Arup’s decentralised energy advisory practice, where he advised a variety of private and public sector organisations, helping unlock first-of-its-kind investments in battery storage, district heating, EV charging and energy efficiency.
