Julie King is co-founder and CEO of Thunderstorm Sports + Entertainment.  Thunderstorm brings full circle her management career and legal studies in international sports and entertainment and working with commercial development of IP in water and environmental technologies and as co-founder of a water and wastewater treatment software company.  She has worked for global corporations like Grundfos to launch new technology products and continues to work closely with international conservation NGOs like WWF Freshwater on water risks.  She has published a number of articles in these sectors and is currently co-writing 3 books with co-founder, Jacob Tompkins: Digital Water: From analogue to AI – accelerating the corporate water stewardship journey, What about Water? The missing link in the sustainability in sports and entertainment movement and a guide for sports venues and events:  A practical engineering approach to water stewardship in elite sports and entertainment: the Top 10 risks to shutting down operations.

King has a law degree from Queen Mary University of London and an International Masters in political science from Stockholm University.
