Joseph has worked in the banking industry for almost 20 years where he has held a variety of roles across operations, middle office and front line banking within the commercial banking divisions of six of the world’s leading financial services organisations. Joseph is a Chartered Associate of the London Institute of Banking & Finance and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. Joseph is the Deputy Branch Manager in the West End Branch of Handelsbanken where he helps his clients to develop and achieve their strategic aims through sensible conversation, prudent risk management, appropriate deployment of banking solutions and fantastic service. Joseph has a strong personal and professional interest in sustainability; in particular - supporting the SME market with its transition to green. Joseph has an enthusiastic interest in history and the City of London: He is a Freeman of the City of London, a Liveryman of The Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers and a Lifetime Member of the Ward of Broad Street. When not in the City, Joseph likes to be creative where he enjoys handcraft tailoring, graphic & fashion design, playing music and DIY; he is a keen cyclist and the Past Captain of a multi-award winning charity cycling team which has raised over £500k since 2010. In 2025 Joseph intends to ride over 1,500 miles in 18 days as he retraces the original 1909 ‘Giro d’Italia’ (unsupported) to raise money for Campaign Against Living Miserably.
