Carlota is a principal at the deep decarbonisation fund Extantia Capital, leading UK operations for the fund. She started her career in commodities at Merrill Lynch, with a focus on European energy and carbon markets. Carlota also has operational experience, having led production for an early stage startup and as a senior manager in Amazon's consumer electronics division. Carlota moved into venture capital whilst completing an MBA at London Business School, initially focused on B2B software and then moving into climate tech with Extantia.
