Arushi Gupta
Arushi is an Engagement Manager with the ESG Consulting team in Ipsos Strategy3’s London team. She leads ESG projects for our global clients including Unilever, Aviva and Danone amongst many others. Her experience in ESG ranges from behavioural change and communication to ESG reporting.
Arushi’s work to understand the experience, motivations & needs of social media Creators with regards to sustainability positioned Unilever as a thought-leader in the space. Findings from the project were presented at Climate Change conference in New York and at COP28 in Dubai last year.
Arushi is also our in-house expert in running double materiality assessments and is well-versed with the latest corporate reporting standards such as ESRS and ISSB. She recently led a complex double materiality assessment for a global insurance provider – results from the study fed into the client’s ESG short-term plans and long-term strategy. Arushi has co-authored a whitepaper titled ‘Demystifying Double Materiality’ and run client webinars on the topic. She also speaks on the subject regularly at internal and external events.
Arushi is passionate about ‘business for good – for the people and the planet’. She is currently working with a public sector organisation in the UK to develop thought leadership on the importance of S in ESG.
Arushi has a curious mind and loves exploring problems. Truly understanding user's pain and translating them into innovative ideas fascinates her. Arushi comes with a wealth of experience in strategy and innovation consulting and has led many sustainability projects using human-centred design and service design principles including a 50 people sprint to develop ideas for circular business models and systems.
Arushi is a seasoned professional with experience in driving growth for both private sector such as financial services, healthcare, FMCG, transport, automobile and education, and
public sector. Arushi originally hails from India and has lived around the world including in Oman, UAE, Qatar and the UK. She holds an MBA from Imperial College London and a Bachelor in Technology in Electronics & Communication engineering from Punjab Engineering College in India.
Outside of Ipsos, Arushi works as a mentor and coach with an NGO named Laamiga to support refugee and migrant women from minority communities.
