Society for the Environment

Society for the Environment was granted a Royal Charter in 2004 to be the body responsible for championing and registering professionals with proven competence in their environmental work, awarding Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) and Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech) status to dedicated environmental professionals. Today there are over 7,500 Chartered Environmentalists, drawn from a range of diverse fields such as agriculture, consulting, engineering and many more. For environmental professionals, these environmental registrations highlight a level of skill and experience that sets them apart from others working in their field. It enhances career prospects through establishing proven expertise, experience, and commitment to professional standards.
