Tackling the Digital Divide in Today's Schools - How Every Child Online Is leading the Fight Against Digital Poverty

26 Jun 2024
London Hub & Bar
Reset Connect London 2024

A Deputy Head Teacher of a secondary school in Essex provides his account of how lack of access to IT is holding some children back - and what can be done about it.

Every Child Online is dedicated to bridging the digital divide, preventing digital exclusion, and enhancing the digital literacy of underprivileged children and young adults. Collaborating closely with hundreds of UK schools, charities, clubs, and social service departments, our mission is to ensure that every child advances in Digital Britain. We uncover the unawakened and unrecognised potential of digitally creative children, ensure no child lags behind on their education due a lack of access to online learning tools, and strive to empower children in an era where a lack of connectivity can profoundly impact their self-esteem and mental well-being. We can only achieve our goals with the help of the hundreds of UK companies who trust in our IT asset disposal services and who have embraced our IT Full Circle philosophy. Please Visit out Stand A440 At Reset Connect to discuss working with us.

We will also be offering exhibitors and attendees FREE hard drive wiping and destruction services at the show, so please bring along and donate your old personal unused IT equipment - laptops, desktops, mobile phones and tablets.
