Stewardship Asia Centre

Stewardship Asia Centre is a non-profit organisation established by Singapore-based Temasek Holdings. We define stewardship as creating value by integrating the needs of stakeholders, society, future generations and the environment. The centre helps business and government leaders, investors, and individuals activate stewardship and sustainability practices through research, advisory, offline and online engagement, open enrollment, and custom-built executive education programmes. We are also the custodian of the Singapore Stewardship Principles for Responsible Investors. Our chief executive officer, Rajeev Peshawaria, will be presenting at the event on why current mechanisms of capitalism are inadequate to create scalable positive social and environmental impact. He will explain the steward leadership framework to help the 21st-century business leader marry profit and purpose. The session will also include case studies of organisations worldwide that have proven strategies of doing well by doing good.
