The “climate finance gap” is estimated to reach at least $4 trillion by 2030. Scaling up investment in low-carbon solutions while also increasing energy access will take a herculean mix of new policy, political will and technological innovation. This session will explore the cutting-edge of work in climate finance, including Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, carbon markets and development funding, using real-world case studies in countries such as Ghana, Rwanda, Kenya and others.
